See how much I love this fun pp.... I had to use it for Debby on her card as well. The flowers on this card are from my friend Debby! They came from Israel. It is so much fun to use embellishments your friends send from other countries. So these were special to me and I used them for her. Isn't this a precious little girl image for her birthday. Colored in copics. Hero Arts for the sentiment. Nestibilities (squares)...... I will be putting this card SOON in the mail so it has time to travel! :)

Well, I rarely take the time to scrap due to the love of card making has taken control of me. But...... I finally broke down and did a layout. I tried to really distress my pp's. And I ripped up a cardboard diaper box to get the old rough look..... I have inked, and then used Shimmerz over the doilie and torn box to give it that beautiful shimmer of shine.. Also I used some on the Bazzill covered brad for the flower. Hemp, and American Crafts alpha letters. I also rubbed some Metallic rub-on to the letters made by Craf-T Products, Inc. It is a JOY to have grandsons in my life..... This is my oldest Ayden who will soon be turning 5 in September.
My youngest son, Chad turns 34 tomorrow on the 26th.... (I'm feeling really old!) I used a cute little image for his card, with BoBunny paper along with Black Market Paper Society. Chipboard heart, Hemp, flower from my stash, and sentiment is by SU. Copics for coloring and Oval Nestabilities....
I really love to make a card in total BLACK AND WHITE ONLY! Then for the punch line I add ONE SPLASH OF COLOR! It never fails me..... I love them! PP was from my stash of scraps, the sentiment letters is by American Crafts. Bazzill for the flower's button. I smeared white acrylic paint on the button with my finger. Thin strips of CS were cut and curled to add to the center. Flower was from good old Dollar Tree.... TFL Peggy 5x7 size
I just about feel like I've lost my Mojo.... Being off from crafting since the first of June has about killed me worse than my back! I am still trying to get better, and I've had several procedures done to the back. Nothing so far has been helping. I will see the surgeon again next Friday week. I think he may be leaning towards Surgery #2.... We only fixed HALF of the problem. The next sugery would involve placing rods and screws in the back as well. Not what I'm hoping for. The daily pain is not fun either.
PP- My Little Shoebox, Green PP scrap from my stash , Bazzill CS, Sewing, Distressing with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink, Hemp from Walmart, Prima flower and the blue flower from my stash, Magnolia images mixed with Hanglar & Stanglar, $1 stamp for heart, Sentiment from Hero Arts. Spacer bead with Brad for flower center, Copics for coloring plus chalk. TFL ----- Hoping I am getting my mojo back after not crafting due to my back issue in so long!
