We are here in Jackson, TN visiting grandsons and daughter-in-law.... Oh my the weather has been horrible. We were awakened around 2:30 today with sirens alarming and eventually forced into the storm cellar below the house. A tornado was spotted very close by. The sirens have alarmed almost nonstop since early hours. Power went off too and finally back on. We've received over 10 inches of rain since midnight and expected 3 more in the next hour. People's yards look like rivers running through them. So many flooded roads and power outages. Tomorrow we leave to drive back home to Louisiana. It is not going to be favorable driving since the weather isn't to improve by tomorrow... ugh. Keep us in your prayers to get home safely!
