Happy Birthday to my brother, Terrell

Made this for my brother's birthday that is Monday.  He will hopefully receive it also on time.  A digi image colored with Copics.  Sequins and some twine I got at Walmart on an after xmas sale.  Papers by Teresa Collins 6x6 pad.  Thanks for dropping by.  I appear I haven't made any cards since last year.  I just haven't posted photos....

Happy Birthday Cora

I went to a scrapping event last week and came home with 6 new Prima Doll stamps!  wooooohoooooo
I think they could easily be addicting.  This was my first tag to make with one and I loved playing.  I used a stamp set for around the edges from Bo Bunny and then used ColorBox chalk inks over them and the edges too.  Added a few embellishments and flowers.......  Paper pieced a sun colored with Copics.  The dress was paper pieced as well and her headband.  I colored her skin and hair in copics.  Sentiment is by SU..

Make A Wish

I used a Saturated Canary image for my card colored with Copics.  PP's and most accents are by Heidi Grace.  Liquid pearls for accents were used on the image.  I added some other pearl accents (from a napkin ring - oh how I love these on a card)....  Butterflies and other chip board accents were used as well.  Some pretty lace and a Sizzix clock face diecut and flourish too rubbed with some snow.   This card was sent in the mail to a special friend who will be celebrating her birthday soon!  Happy Birthday Linda.

My dear friend, Bonnie is celebrating a June birthday....  She loves butterflies of ANY KIND on ANYTHING!  There is not a day that passes by that she does not have either a shirt with one on it, or jewelry with butterflies etc.  I call her the Butterfly queen... haha.......  So I would love to enter this card into the Magnolia-licious  challenge with using butterflies....  Tilda is colored with Copics.  The rest is some from my stash to embellish the card with.  Thanks for stopping by.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CONNOR

Happy Birthday to my youngest grandson, Connor.  He will be turning 4 on January 4th.  They are here visiting and have been living in Hawaii for the past 2 years.  His dad is military and they are being transferred now to Washington DC.  He will be working at he Pentagon. 
So I thought of Connor when I saw this cute image.  Reminded me of Hawaii and how he DRESSED for the past 2 years!  LOL.  The papers used were from My Mind's Eye.  And the rest was just little embellishments from my stash.
Nana will be making some CAKE POPS with the kids this week to help celebrate Connor turning 4.

Hip Hip Hooray

My dear friend, Debby has an upcoming birthday in January.  I've made this Magnolia card to mail to her.  We have been friends for a long time and write daily.  I live in Louisiana and she lives in Israel.  I hope one day we will be able to visit together.  The pp for the card was from My Mind's Eye by Indie.  Love using their pattern papers.  I colored Tilda with Copics.  Prima flowers, and little embellishments/ribbon from my stash.  I haven't made many cards lately.  I've had some feet issues and it has about got the best of me.  Thanks for stopping by.

HO!HO!HO!

Entering this TAG into the Official Magnolia Inspiration blog challenge here for Challenge 54 using a Magnolia stamp and a flower on a tag.

After I had colored the image I somehow got a speck of red Copic ink on the outside of the image over about an inch away. I thought oh dear lord..... this is ruined! Never say never.  ROFL.   I took cool grays, Cool Shadow, Blush, and added more specks and squiggles.  and blended and blended.  And on my outside edges and my embellishments I used some snow to give it yet another Chrsitmas cold look.  I loved how the background turned out at the end.  

I used a cute Tilda and made a Christmas tag.  Cheese cloth was dyed with Walnut stain.  Film strip from Ranger, flower I made using the Pinecone die from Ranger.  Stick pin, heart from my stash, leaves from MM.  Liquid pearls.  Lace, pearls, twine from SU.  And my new chevron paper by Simple Stories..

TOMIC # 53 - 1st anniversary!!!! with Anything goes challenge....

I used a Tilda from the Spring collection club kit for my image.  Colored with Copics and shaded the image in chalks.  The matting is a die by cheery lynn dies of a doily.  Fiskars cloud punch, SU sentiment, decorative brad by Spare Parts....  pp by My Mind's Eye,  butterfly is by K & company, border punch is by Martha Stewart, pearls are from a napkin ring I recycled.  LOL
I will be sending my card to a dear friend, Linda for her bday that is arriving soon!

Welcome Baby

My cousin's daughter is expecting her first baby in August. She will be having her baby shower in 2 weeks and I made up this card for her shower gift.  The image is from LOTV.  And the pp is beautiful. My last piece of it.  whine....  It is by K&Company.  Beautifully embossed.  The pearls from above the bow is from a napkin ring find at a Goodwill store.  8-)  I love it! I get about 8 cards from one.
Sentiment is from SU and I used a spellbinders die for the frame.

A quick birthday card to send to a friend with a birthday next week.  I used Wild Asparagus pp.  Gems, Baker's twine, and a SU sentiment called Short & Sweet.  The little heart is also from the SU set too.

Thoughts of You...

Using scraps for this card I made my own pp....  Stamp set is by Best Blossoms from SU.  Sentiment is from Goody-Goody Gumdrops also by SU.  I only used part of the sentiment.  I have a special friend that needs a hug and this is the perfect card for Debi.....  Her dad has had a lengthy illness and she's been his all time main caregiver.  Think of her often and I know there are so many days she is not thanked enough by family for all she does.
