I decided to play with another of my canvases.  So I altered one and if it sells at the bazaar someone is able to add a photo on the mat.  It was a lot of fun to make.  WOW haven't scrap booked in YEARS!

AWE..... I'M PAINTING ON CANVAS!

Being from Louisiana the FLEUR-DE-LIS are soooo very popular here.  Great for decorating the home.  I had 2 little 4x4 canvases I'd picked up from Hobby Lobby MONTHS ago and was nervous about trying anything.  Finally I said what the heck.  Can always pick into the trash if I screw it up!  Anyway I've been pretty pleased since it was a FIRST!  I hope someone will like them enough to want them for their house!  If not my sister and I just might have a new canvas painting for our kitchens!  LOL  Thanks for stopping by to see!

DECIDED TO GO WITH A LITTLE BOY'S FRAME.   I LOVE THE FLOWERS ON THIS ONE.  AND WHAT A CUTE LITTLE ZEBRA TOO!  ADDED ANOTHER RIBBON BOW TO IT TO ALL GO WITH THE MY MIND'S EYE PAPER.  GOSH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL PAPER.  IT IS FROM A CHRISTMAS STACK I GOT AT HOBBY LOBBY.  LOVE IT!  THESE FRAMES ARE STARTING TO BECOME ADDICTIVE.....   THANKS FOR STOPPING BY...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Altered frame for that SPECIAL BALLERINA in your family....

I think this is some of the BEAUTIFULEST patterned paper I've used yet on my altered frames.  Paper is by Creative Imaginations called the DANCE.  OMG this is beautiful IRL.  I think the frame should sell in my upcoming bazaar or at least I hope!  I added a pretty pink satin ribbon and one of my wonderful charms.  Wanted to keep it simple and let the paper show how pretty this one is.... LET IT SNOW

I needed an easel card for a mingle swap and it had to be a card without the normal folds or an easel card..  Creative Imaginations PP for this one. I fell in love with it.  Flower for the Dollar Tree store.  Copics for coloring, Hate pins, pearls from HL Wedding dept.  Nestibilities, Holly stamp from HL and after coloring it I used Crystal Effects from SU.  Lace from HL.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.  Hope my partner will enjoy it.

DANCE ---- ALTERED FRAME

I played today in my craft room making an altered frame.  The frame is from the unfinished dept. at Michael's.  My pp was by Reminisce called "JUST DANCE".  How wonderful it went with the Ballerina Tilda by Magnolia.  My embellishments were:  Say it in Pearls by Prima, and a beautiful button by Tim Holtz/Ranger.  My ribbons were from Walmart and SU.  Tilda was colored in Copics.  And my heart punch was by Martha Stewart.  I'm hoping to sell altered frames at a Bazaar in mid October.  Wish me luck.  No clue what to ask for a price.  Any ideas would be helpful!  Thanks for stopping by to visit.  hugs....

Happy Birthday Ayden...Turning 6 is fun!

My oldest grandson, Ayden will soon be turning 6 years old. We are traveling to Jackson, TN next Friday week to help him celebrate!  The cute image is from a digital site called Dustin Pike  I love the site and it is loaded with freebies as well...  Copics were used to color the image, PP's were by Little  Yellow Bicycle and Cosmos Cricket.  Stars were punched and glittered using a Sizzix die.  Offray ribbon, American Crafts number, sentiment from my stash.  I hope he enjoys the card.  I had fun making it for sure.    Nana....
