INSPIRE

I tried my hand at water coloring with Ranger Distressing inks and then following with the inks and a dry brush for deep shadows. I have a lot to learn about this, but have been wanting to try this method.

Flowers are all by Prima.  PP's are by American Crafts.  Doily from Walmart, sentiment from my stash.  Offray ribbons and Pearl accents.  Thans for stopping by today.  Hugs to you all.

NECK DISC SURGERY

I just returned home from having Neck Disc surgery to repair a fusion that had broken.  All went well and I'm glad to be back home.  I had a ton of pain the first day of surgery and finally was able to get it under control...  I hope to do well with recovery period now.  But will sure miss doing crafting. So if you don't see much from me for a week or two that is why.

I hope you get to have a fun beautiful birthday this month.  To help you celebrate I've made a birthday card using of course a Magnolia Tilda.  I used My Mind's Eye design papers and they are one of my favorite paper companies.  Nestibilities - Ovals.  Sentiment by SU, Punch by MS, Offray ribbon, Flowers by Recollections.  Pearls from wedding dept at Hobby Lobby.  Button from Ranger/Tim Holtz, Gemstones by His & Hers Studio, and of course Tilda colored in Copics.  Tilda is sitting on a golden sticker bar sent to me from my friend Debby from Israel.  I hope you will enjoy the card!

Summer and Bright using my new Summer Kit from Magnolia

My August Mingle card using a Magnolia image with a summer

and bright theme.  IRL the paper is so pretty and really is bright. The circles are shinny on the pp.   I used water drop stickers on the pp to make it really look like bubbles in the water.   Copics were used to color the image with and stickles applied over the top of the scales.  A yummy bright flower by Recollections purchased from Michaels.  Ribbon by SU and lace from my stash.  Circle Nestibilities were used with the image.  And sewing with my machine.  Thanks so much for stopping by......
