Awe... another fun Tilda card to make. This image is from the Fall Stamp Kit Club. What a cutie! Colored Tilda and the luggage in Copics. Flowers are from my stash, Brads by MM, Flourish stamp by Inkadinkado, Sentiment by CTMH stamped in SU white craft pigment ink. Heart stamp is a $1 stamp. Cosmo Cricket is the PP along with a small scrap of another sheet. Thanks for looking.

All proceeds from her stamps she designed will be given to them in memory of her grandmother passing away from that disease. She is offering a huge blog candy sponsored by sooo many companies. Please check her blog for more details. I made this card to THANK the care givers who help with Alzheimer patients. I will be sending my card to our local Oakwood Village here in Zachary, Louisiana thanking them for all they do for our local patients.

Birthday boy.... Ayden turning four at school party

Please continue to remember my son, Chris in your prayers.....

I just wanted to update that Chris has now deployed for his sea time on the ship. He has a very dangerous job - top deck launching planes etc. off. And they will be traveling over at Iraq as well. Please keep him in your daily prayers until he's returned safely back home to his family. A very hard adjustment time for Ayden too. He had a nightmare 2 days ago and Jenn said he was crying telling her please don't leave me too and go far away. Hard for a 4 year old to understand just want is happening. Chris will be retuning back home in January sometime. (probably just after the baby is born)....

This is Kirin --- 6 months old now. His first time to get in the pool...... He was loving it. Now you can see what keeps me busy and happy on the weekends!!!!! Grandbabies are the best!

GUSTAV

Well, for the past week we've been dealing with Hurricane Gustav. I live outside of Baton Rouge and what a mess of destruction this storm left our area.... So many trees are uprooted, broken, water flooding into houses, power lines down in so many areas. Really sad to see your town look so badly. Our house is brand new so luckily we were without the BIG trees to worry with. I still had water enter through the windows in 3 rooms of the house. At times I'd just stand with bowls in my hands trying to catch some of the water coming in. ugh.... Drywall damaged, carpet is so wet. Our roof leaked as well over the bathroom too. But compared to the other destruction this storm left, I feel mine is so minor. Least we still have our home. We were jumping with joy yesterday when the power was restored. The high temps and then added humidty was not fun! Trying to catch back up on all my laundry now. I think we used every towel in the house to help with the water coming in. Still have some lawn clean up left to do. Need stakes too for our young trees that were blown over. We waited for 3 1/2 hours in line yesterday morning for gasoline. Only a couple of stores are back open in our town and the lines are huge.....

Congratulations to my good friend, Amy and Larry on their upcoming September wedding. Unfortunately my card will arrive late due to Hurricane Gustav. Cute little image that I colored with Copics and added some stickles too. American Crafts PP that was devine! Halloween Swap

A fun card I made using a cute little Hanglar and Stanglar image.... Thanks Aud for the image many moons ago...... The haunted house was colored with Copics and stickels also added. A white Gelly Roll pen was used for the WHITE on the card. PP is by Best Creations. Rocks are from Alotta Rubber stamps.
