WANTED

This is a valentine for my grandson, Ayden.... It's a scraplift off Pam's card from CC's.... I just loved her design and had to make one for Ayden too this year.. He does steal my heart away. Especially living so far from us in Virginia. Tomorrow I will go to Toys-R-Us and get him some goodies to mail to him with his card. Grandbabies are just the greatest!

Thoughts of You

Internet image, Kolette Hall $1 stamp for sentiment, Bazzill, Ribbon from Walmart, Chipboard - SU, Acrylic paints - painted it to match the color in the flowers from the image. Craft white ink from SU. Pretty Simple card! Going to a friend that had a STRAY DOG break the DOOR down of her house, and killed her inside dogs all but one this past weekend! It was a horrible weekend for her..... The neighbor had picked that dog up and brought it home with her trying to find it a home! They are checking now to see also if it has Rabies. Her other little dog is still hanging on for it's life with broken ribs etc. What a mess for them to have to endure and clean up inside their home too. This all happened while they were at work. Really sad.... The family is still in shock. Peggy

WHAT WAS I THINKING WHEN I BOUGHT THIS PAPER CHALLENGE???

I bought this paper back in OCT. I think it was or earlier. I had planned to use it for XMAS. And paid a dear fortune for it at the LSS! sigh! It is by DCWV called: ALL DRESSED UP --- Jade Sparkle Glitter. When I bought it I thought it was BEAUTIFUL! But when I'd pick it up to use it... My mind would draw a BLANK CANVAS! Well.... Christmas came and went.... I cleaned out my paper last Sunday and there was the paper still! When I saw Cora's challenge tonight I laughed and went right to the paper! I thought well, this is as good of a time as any to get rid of at least 1/4 of a sheet of it! LOL. I decided to pull out my MAGNOLIA image by All Night Media and play off the white and green of the paper and add a pretty white satin ribbon of white as well adding an American Crafts big brad in green too. SU thank you sentiment stamped right directly onto the ribbon! Bazzill black CS. Cora I'm glad I used it now! thanks.... Peggy

(a little update: a few days later..... my listing agent that sold us our house came by to take some photos inside our house as our house was entered into an upcoming contest in Baton Rouge. She wanted a sneek peek into my craft room and saw my cards inside. I told her I was leaving to drop some off at a shop I sell them in. She snatched up three of them for $20..... This being one of them! whoooopeeee! Guess the paper caught her eye too! LOL)

Internet image, Felt, chipboard I first painted with Acrylic black paint, sprayed then Aleene's Tacky Spray next, and then added some glitter next. Then heated. Sentiment is G-Studio , PP is Bo Bunny, Bazzill CS, Wide Offray Satin Ribbon, Carol Ellis - cce gave me the beads when she was my SS secret sister. Z-Fold THANK YOU!

This is a Z-fold card.... made from 12 x 5 1/2 inch CS. Scored at 2 1/2 and then again at 2 1/2. I like to leave the base nice and long so the nice color of my base really shows! Bazzill for my CS base, Fancy Pants floursish stamp inked in pigment ink stamped on the front left of the card, Sandy Lion pp, Target gift card, Miss Elizabeth's Brads, Offray Ribbon. I use Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue for gluing my gift card to my Z-fold....... TFL.... Peggy

My camera just would not take a good photo of this card. No matter what I did or how much light! Get Well Soon

This is my LONG card for the challenge on CC's for January 9th. Melissa Frances (my favorite paper line) pp. along with some very old Wild Asparagus gingham paper..... This was some very soft thick twill that I recycled off a RUG we'd bought that they had TIED UP AROUND IT with tons of pieces of it! I made DH help me unwrap every one of them for later CARD MAKING USE! LOL. G Studio $1 sentiment stamp. Create -a-Cut Trimmer to cut my own scallops, and a little machine stitching. Happy Birthday to "ME"

Today is my 54th birthday. Feels just like another ordinary day at the Biggs house! So it will be just a day of relaxation for us this nice day. I will try to spend some time in my crafting room and I'd like to hopefully do a little cleaning in it too. I've been terrible lately for not keeping things put away. And it has been about to drive me BONKERS!
My two sons will probably be calling today too so will look forward to that.
